Johanna Elizabeth Braddy was born August 30, 1987 in Atlanta, Georgia to parents Steve and Jo Beth. Early on, Braddy made her career choice when she announced after attending performance of "Swan Lake" that that was what she wanted to do - at age three. That year she began taking ballet and continued into jazz, tap and point. Not surprising for someone who was singing complete songs at 13 months of age!
She attented McIntosh High School in Peachtree City,
where she was captain of the dance team. Along with dance, music has always been one of Johanna's passions.
When Johanna was eight years old she made her theatrical debut in the role of Tessie in "Annie" at the Fox Theatre with the Theatre of the Stars in Atlanta, Georgia, and was cast in four more plays at the Fox Theatre. She auditioned for and was cast in multiple roles in the Atlanta Workshop Players (AWP) Tour Show, a troupe of talented kids and teens who perform musicals for schools all over the state of Georgia and the southeast. She remained with the AWP for eight years and attended their summer acting camp, where she secured representation from a talent agent, thus starting her film career.
She attented All-state and Honors chorus for five consecutive years and was also chosen for the Governors Honors Program
as a Vocal Performance Major.
During her senior year of high school, she took her first trip to Los Angeles. After booking "Avatar: The Last Airbender"
and a the pilot episode of 'Surface' in the few months she was there, Johanna decided that California was where she wanted
to live. She moved out in November of 2005 and has been working ever since. Johanna has done many voice over works and can
be heard in various commercial and radio spots. Since relocating to Los Angeles, Johanna has worked on numerous Films and TV Shows.
She guest starred on 'Lie to Me', 'Samantha Who?', 'Drake and Josh', 'Cold Case' and 'Surface' as well as having recurring roles on
'GREEK', 'The Riches' and most recently 'Southland'.
Currently, Johanna is working on ABC Family's 'Greek' as Jordan and 'Southland' as Olivia.
Later this year she starts filming a new Indie called Unicorns where she stars as Davina,
an awkward teenage girl who escapes to a fanatsy world when her first romantic relationship turns increasingly abusive.
